We’re excited to announce that the brand new RapidAIM app (compatible with iOS and Android devices) is now available for download on the App Store and Google Play.
This app offers growers and regional surveillance program members a convenient way to stay aware and manage Fruit Fly activity at any time thanks to its numerous features. Here’s a quick overview of some of them.
Real time alerts
Know now. Our state-of-the-art IoT smart sensors, upon detecting Fruit Fly activity, will instantly alert you through your app via a push notification feature. At a glance, you will know exactly where pests are active, and the severity of their presence. You can then choose with a simple tap or a swipe to either check your orchard / trap’s status, or dismiss the notification.
Trap stats
Our sensors are so smart, they will let you know when their battery is getting low (don’t worry, it should happen only once or twice a year!) or when they require a bit of maintenance (i.e. lure or sticky card replacement). You’ll also be able to change their name or even set a manual location if you wish to override their GPS data. And should a trap get stolen or moved too far from its original location, you’ll also get notified.
Event logging
Our app makes it a breeze to record notes or maintenance information for your orchards or traps. You can also log a spray event for one or multiple traps to keep track of your actions, then check what impact they had on Fruit Fly activity.
Interactive timeline
Whether you want to get the bigger picture by looking at a whole month’s worth of activity on an orchard or farm, or drill down to a particular day and see an hourly breakdown of what happened on a given trap, we’ve got you covered. Browsing historical data is as simple as a swipe left or right thanks to our intuitive UI and fast-loading data from our high performance AWS servers.
